- Be sure to test 3 – 5 days after they were exposed
- Monitor their health for 10 days
- If they begin to show symptoms or test positive, please do not come to class
If a student tests positive:
- Please notify me immediately
- Per LACPH recommendations: the student can return to class after at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared AND
- At least 24 hours have passed since last fever (without the use of fever-reducing medicine) AND
- Any other symptoms have improved (for example, cough or shortness of breath) OR
- The student is cleared to return by a healthcare professional
If a student is showing signs of any illness:
- Please take care of yourself and others by staying home and resting up.
Zoom as a temporary alternative:
Should there be a spike in local cases, LA County determines it’s best not to be indoors with groups of people masked or not, or LA County orders a lockdown, all in person classes will move temporarily to zoom. No refunds or credits will be applied.
